The Forest of Bere dairy overlooks the picturesque village of Southwick where rich meadows have been grazed for centuries. The dairy collects fresh milk daily from the surrounding farms turning it straight into fresh dairy products. The ice cream is produced in a traditional way with fresh whole milk, cream and local eggs, giving it a distinctive rich and creamy texture.

Clotted cream

Made using homemade rich clotted cream, this is a wonderful rich dairy ice cream.


A rich dairy ice cream made with milk, cream, egg yolks and Madagascan vanilla pods.

Lemon curd

This delicious ice cream is made with the dairies own freshly made lemon curd.

Tunworth - Hampshire cheese's - Basingstoke

This unpasteurised cheese is hand made in a converted cowshed on a family run farm using special cultures and traditional rennet. They have developed a cheese with a creamy texture, wrinkled rind and unique taste.

Isle of Wight blue - Isle of Wight cheese co.

Handmade Isle of Wight blue is a natural rind soft blue cheese that is made with Guernsey cow's milk from the herd that graze the Queen Bower dairy. Winner of multiple awards, this is for cheese lovers.

Lyburn old Winchester - Lyburn cheeses - Salisbury

This mature cheese has an element of creaminess to it and a subtle nuttiness in flavour with a little crunch closer to the rind. Matured for 9 months this really is a world class cheese. 

Briddlesford farm cheddar - Isle of Wight

Matured for a minimum of 12 months. Briddlesford cheddar has lots of fruit up front, giving way to a rich, buttery, grassy finish. It has a mild nuttiness that sings of the flavour of the wonderful milk form which it was made.

1 piece of each cheese, served with baked crostini's, grapes, saffron pickled fennel, honey seeds and whipped butter.
